Join ManTech’s mission-focused national security team delivering enterprise infrastructure capabilities for a global workforce. This role will support the Intelligence Community’s Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) platform in Maryland. This role support infrastructure associated with Data Center & Computing Services, Integrated Product Teams (IPT), and vendors to deliver services to ManTech’s customers in the IC. ManTech seeks a motivated Cloud Security Engineer to join our team in Maryland.

- This position allows for up to 75% telework, based on customer approval.
- Responsibilities Included but are not limited to :
- Ensure the security posture of the research network by performing threat analysis, implementing, and maintaining security infrastructure, and meeting security compliance requirements.
- Responsible for implementing, sustaining, and using tools such as Splunk, Security Onion (Bro / Zeek, Suricata, CapME), Palo Alto firewalls, CylancePROTECT AV, SaltStack, Tenable.sc and Nessus, and Barracuda ESG
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining security compliance that satisfied customer’s mandated requirements to include scanning, remediation, and infrastructure hardening
- Assist with installing, testing, and deploying hotfixes / patches for Trellix product releases to manage enterprise vulnerabilities.
- Deploying and managing comprehensive NSP / IPS architecture to support real-time security monitoring operations.
- Operation and maintenance of Trellix ePO for cloud endpoint security.
- Updating, patching, testing, and deploying VDI images.
- Developing solutions for automating the deployment of secure cloud infrastructure.
- Must be able to perform expert level troubleshooting.
- Minimum Qualifications :
- At least 20 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Demonstrated experience utilizing Salt, Splunk, Nessus, GitLab and Jira. Along with automation / configuration tools
- Must have a current IAT II certification.
- Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining hybrid network, connecting traditional on-prem infrastructure and customer’s AWS environment.
- Experience with the deployment and operations of Trellix / McAfee NSP, ATD, ePO, and Private Global Threat Intelligence (pGTI) platforms for multiple environments.
- Clearance Requirements :
- Must have a current / active TS / SCI w / Polygraph.
- Physical Requirements :
- The candidate must be able to move, carry and deliver workstations from inside the office to customer’s desk. The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
