What are the responsibilities and job description for the Configuration Manager position at ManTech?
ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Configuration Manager to join our team in Doral, FL.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Establish and maintain the configuration baseline, which is a set of approved and controlled versions of project or system components serving as the reference point for further development, testing, and deployment.
Control components for projects and systems as they are developed, updated, and deployed.
Execute the Configuration Change Board (CCB)
Execute Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) process.
Develop configuration management strategies.
Conduct regular audits of configuration data to ensure compliance with established policies and standards.
Document all configuration management activities.
Provide expertise in configuration management.
Supervise and mentor subordinate project and Team ManTech staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
Strong configuration management skills.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and Jira.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related technical field.
Masters degree is equivalent to 2 years of experience.
PhD degree is equivalent to 4 years of experience.
A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience supporting DoD programs.
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
Experience in IT service management.
ITIL certification.
Conduct regular audits of configuration data to ensure compliance with established policies and standards.
Experience with cloud-based technologies.
Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current/active Secret clearance.
