What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Specialist position at ManTech?
ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Intermediate Equipment Specialist to join our team onsite at Hill AFB, UT. This will be supporting the F-16 IAIS Product Support Integration effort.
Responsibilities:
Provides general logistics support in acquisition and sustainment
Reviews, develops, validates, analyzes and updates publications (Operation Manuals, Maintenance Manuals, Modification Instructions, Technical Instructions, SL-3’s and Special Instructions)
Drafts and reviews Statements of Work for various client components
Provides expert technical advice, assistance, and instruction to the NAF and subordinate units on the operation and maintenance of aircraft systems and equipment and the timely resolution of maintenance issues and problems. Performs special and recurring projects.
Assists in initial provisioning and fielding of new equipment to include new equipment asset management and inventory control
Provides assistance in the management of the program for spares, repair parts, and supplies to meet requirements
Ensures quality assurance is managed by utilizing the Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDRs) and providing immediate resolutions
Minimum Qualifications:
7 years of work experience as an Equipment Specialist
F-16 Maintenance experience
Bachelor’s degree or 4 additional years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant core and advanced certifications as established/required per local, national and international industry standards or as necessitated by performance expectations associated with level of appointment
F-16 avionics experience
Automatic Test Equipment experience
Clearance Requirements:
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
