ManTech seeks a motivated Financial Analyst – DoD Acquisitions to support Marine Corps Systems Command, Program Manager Intelligence & Cyber Operations Contract in Stafford, VA.
The successful candidate will assume financial and business management responsibilities on behalf of our government customer, playing an integral role in all areas of financial management of the program.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare government funding documents conveying Department of Defense appropriations categories.
- Maintain project baseline budget information, update spend and phasing plans, and track changes.
- Track and compare project funding execution to phasing plans. Identify and alert the project management office to any significant variances from the plan.
- Prepare and coordinate inputs for regular execution reviews required by the Marine Corps and/or higher headquarters.
- Interface with the program management team in preparation of financial documentation, status reports, and briefs.
- Provide financial support and input to integrated product reviews, integrated product teams, and technical working groups.
- Assist with the resolution of financial reporting and compliance issues with various government agencies.
- Provide input to annual budgeting tasks for the development of documents, reports, and briefs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years of experience in DoD financial / cost analysis. Additional 3 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Experience with Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI).
- Possess analytical skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft applications to include Office and SharePoint.
- Possess effective oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- DAU Level I certification in one of the following areas: business, cost estimating and financial management, contracting, or acquisitions.
- Experience with Naval Headquarters System (NHS) Cerberus, Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), SABRS Management Analysis Retrieval System (SMARTS).
Clearance Requirements
- Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance
