ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Mid-level IT Project Manager to join our team in the Stennis, MS.
In this role you will manage critical IT infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless network operations, cybersecurity enhancements, and system upgrades. They coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project timeline and budgets, and align IT initiatives with DHS mission objectives to enhance national security and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work closely with the PMO team to maintain visibility of all tasks and projects; Provide updates on network, security and cloud operation policies, SOPs, and Best Practices to the PMO team. Identify requirements, manage risks, define scope, objectives, schedule, and deliverables within the network, security and cloud operations environment
Coordinate and lead project activities and stakeholders to support the project schedule to meet requirements. Create work packages tied to milestones, identify dependencies, and schedule work: Ensure tasks are assigned and completed on time; Track and report on project milestones and deliverables
Stakeholder Management: Work with stakeholders to prioritize operations tasks and engineering projects; Provide routinely scheduled reports and updates to senior managers on task and project performance
Vendor Management: Coordination of procurement, installation and maintenance of network, security, and cloud systems, ensuring compliance with project requirements
Documentation and Reporting: Support the development of briefings and presentations for customers;
Change Management: Manage change requests related to network, security, and cloud operations; attend change management meetings and briefings and brief projects as applicable; assess the impact of changes on the project; Utilizing Change Control Boards (CCBs) to manage and control any project-related changes, ensuring effective and efficient project delivery; ensuring quality checks to adhere to quality standards
Minimum Qualifications:
3 three year of experience as a Technical Project Manager and a Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, finance, business management, or related degree, or equivalent experience
Project Management Professional certification or equivalent
Experience on projects involving Agile and DevOps processes
Understanding of and some experience overseeing implementation of ITIL practices
Experience leading small to medium project teams
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in any of the following: Certified Scrum Master, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), or equivalent Federal acquisition/project management program
Experience with Change Control Boards and change management
Experience working with ServiceNow
An advanced degree
Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current/active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.
The ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD suitability is required prior to starting this position.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work in an office environment and maneuver in data center and other IT equipment installation locations.
Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs for distances up to 50 feet.
