ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Mid-level Network Architect / Engineer in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia (Northern) DMV area .
In this role you will provide crucial support to the Network Operations Security Center (NOSC). You will support and assist in the design, development, and deployment of the network enterprise architecture ensuring system integration and cyber security to maintain and improve network operations and security .
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Support the enterprise architecture, design, development, and deployment of network services in support of government customer , maintaining up-to-date current network and system diagrams Develop, manage, and maintain SDLC project artifacts such as requirements, design documents, diagrams, and other required documentation . D evelop roadmap for capabilities, operations, and technologies ensuring development and execution of test plans and supporting documentation for network configuration upgrades, replacements, additions, or revisions .
- Research and implement enterprise-wide network solutions, capabilities, and enhancements to support customer business / mission goals and objectives , while complying with the network architecture and design standards .
- Troubleshoot network incidents, providing root cause analysis and documenting information in tickets and knowledge repositories .
- Coordinate system maintenance, monitoring, and installation of multiple WAN / LAN environments encompassing multiple specializations, platforms, and technologies .
- Support network traffic analysis , bandwidth optimization efforts , capacity planning and more to ensure enterprise network can support the DHS mission .
- Evaluate and report on new / emerging network / communication technologies to enhance capacity , performance, and reliability.
- Evaluate and recommend changes and / or technology upgrades to address performance, standardization, and industry best practices
