What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Data and AI Consultant position at ManTech?
ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and client-oriented Senior Data and AI Consultant to join our Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Consulting practice in Herndon, VA. This is a hybrid position out of Herndon, VA.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Playing a key role in, and independently assisting with, all stages of data and AI projects
Supporting the development and implementation of data and AI solutions for clients.
Effectively communicating technical concepts
Creating high-quality client-facing deliverables and documentation
Explaining technical issues clearly and accurately to both technical and non-technical audiences
Contributing to the strategic direction and growth of the practice
Gathering pre and post-implementation facts to contribute to the documentation of the ROI and other Business Case components for the Past Performance write-up; Documents Past Performance write-ups
Basic Qualifications :
Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant consulting experience or experience in topical areas of data and AI
Experience supporting IC, FedCiv or DoD clients
Demonstrated expertise in data management, governance, and AI applications
Strong analytical and communication skills
Experience with Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.) or Google Workspace
Experience preparing and presenting project status to clients and corporate leadership.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics / Statistics, Operations Research, Economics / Econometrics, Public Policy / Public Administration)
Experience as a management consultant for a major Federal consulting firm
Experience working in an Agile team
Project Management Professional (PMP) certified.
Experience with collaboration tools
Experience facilitating workshops.
Security Clearance Requirements :
US citizenship
Must have active Secret or TS clearance with ability to obtain TS / SCI with polygraph
Having an existing DHS or TS / SCI security clearance is highly desirable
Physical Requirements :
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity tool.
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
