ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Service Design and Engineering Director to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD. The ideal candidate will lead several teams of subject matter experts (SME) to design, develop and support delivery of IT services in support of a global enterprise spanning 20 states and 15 countries supporting a workforce performing intelligence operations. Supported services include, but are not limited to Land Mobile Radio, Campus Area Network, Telephony, AVMM, desktop VTC, printer, cellular, infrastructure, crypto-key, enterprise scanning / patching and other IT services. Additionally, a successful candidate can expect to support IT refresh, large-scale install, move, removal, and fit-up projects or Service Task Orders (STO). While directing five highly technical teams (~21 FTEs) supporting a strict Service Level Agreement environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Directs and leads a premiere organization of SMEs providing expert support to Field Service Operations charged with delivery of services in the customer’s extended enterprise within a strict SLA environment (Teams : Desktop Engineering, Networks, Cable, Unified Communications, Solution Architecture and Project Management)
Collaborate with fellow Frame Leads to design, maintain and / or improve supported services
Will oversee the production of Technical Insertion submission, SOWs and resource requirement documents for SME-level support as needed
Oversees selection and testing of hardware for new requirements and replacement of EOL hardware, and associated software as required
Participate in Opportunity for Improvement efforts to improve services
Conduct or direct interviews to maintain sufficient staffing levels
Identify and execute improvement efforts and participate in special program efforts as required
Host program and customer meetings and interface efforts for Frame and Program success as required
Support refresh, Walkout, CSIR, engineering support / field testing, enterprise SLA support and other duties as assigned
May have the opportunity to travel as required to meet program objectives
Minimum Qualifications :
Requires a Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of technical leadership experience
Ability to convey very technical concepts to non-technical individuals in both verbal and written formats
Possesses an understanding of Information Assurance, desktop deployment, network and unified communication principles and concepts
Excellent leadership and management skills with a proven track record of success with diverse technical teams
Strong communication and presentation skills
Desired Qualification :
CompTIA Security Certification
Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
IT ticket management system experience (ServiceNow).
Experience with large scale enterprise IT contracts.
Clearance Requirements :
Must have a current / active TS / SCI w / Polygraph
Physical Requirements :
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to collaborate with other leaders / teams, use standard office automation equipment, and virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
