ManTech is seeking a Systems Administrator (Virtual Desktops) to help support our current USMC contract out of Quantico, VA. The successful candidate will be joining a diverse team at an industry-leading organization known for prioritizing employee development and offering opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Support and maintain the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) platform and associated virtual desktop images to ensure compliance and availability to the end user within the facility
- Perform System Administration functions for physical and virtual devices across multiple standalone networks, which includes troubleshooting of on-premises and off-premises hosted applications and systems
- Provide support for operating systems, which involves the planning, installation, configuration, testing, implementation, and management of the systems environment in support of the organization's IT architecture and business needs
- Provide support by managing all privileges and permissions required for each respective standalone network
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware, software, and administers system accounts
- Conduct periodic system maintenance including cleaning (both physically and electronically), disk checks, routine reboots, data dumps, and testing
- Design group policies and access control lists to ensure compatibility with organizational standards, business rules, and needs
- Develop and document systems administration standard operating procedures
- Implement and enforce local network usage policies and procedures
Minimum Qualifications :
Detailed knowledge of virtualization technology (creation, upgrade, maintain, snapshots, restore, backup, etc)
