Our Client is looking for a Business Support Analyst for a Contract to Hire position in Pasadena, CA.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Provide end user support, monitor systems, respond to queries, analyze, and escalate issues.
Provide training to the organization for new and current business systems.
Continuously identify issues with current business systems and processes
Work with Senior level Analysts and Managers to assist in the development of scalable solutions carefully evaluated for downstream impacts
Assist in identifying opportunities and participate in development of solutions for process improvement.
Work with Senior level Analysts and Managers to help define business requirements and scope of new solutions.
Build & manage relationships with internal business leaders, managers, and end users to gain a full understanding of processes and how the systems support their deliverables.
Collaborate with IT in the development and execution of solutions and in the development and testing of test scripts for software and process changes.
Research industry trends and technology advancements as assigned.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Position Requirements (Skills, Work Experience, Education, Certifications, Licenses, etc.) :
Bachelor's Degree in business administration, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Information Technology, preferred.
Certifications in Business Analytics a plus
2 years of experience in a related field or a combination of education and experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other MS Office products.
Demonstrates the ability to work independently and in a team setting
Assist Senior level Analysts in developing & presenting a strong business case complete with ROI.
Demonstrates a long-term approach to solutions.
Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to adapt to people and new processes.
Demonstrates appropriate discretion with sensitive information.
Demonstrates strength in troubleshooting issues with software and data.
Demonstrates an understanding of Systems Analysis (determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment affects outcomes.)
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
Demonstrated skills in verbal & written communications, written test plans, articulating business issues into action.
Critical thinking skills ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
