Mantell Associates is currently partnered with one of the most innovative Biotech organisations who are searching for a Senior Account Manager to join their growing team.
Senior Account Manager - Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed sales objectives while maintaining acceptable profit margins
- Work closely with both new and existing customers to understand their needs and application methodology, and provide suitable solutions
- Foster strong partnerships with product management and marketing teams
- Develop strong relationships with key customers, allowing for account expansion and rapid product introduction
- Build trust with major clients at all levels of their organisation
- Handle procurement processes such as RFQs, as well as value sales, by understanding key account decision making processes and drivers
- Develop and execute an account business plan for each account
- Act as a facilitator and connector both internally and externally for all accounts
- Establish and follow sales and industrial forecasts
- Coordinate the execution of joint strategic initiatives and internal project teams
Senior Account Manager - Requirements:
- Scientific, Masters or PhD degree required
- Minimum 5 years direct sales experience in capital equipment related to relevant market
- Strong negotiation skills, including at senior levels of the organisation
- The ability to navigate a multicultural environment both internally and externally
- The ability to understand scientific topics relevant to the field
- Strong organisational skills and project management experience
- Ability to cope with commercial processes
- Ability to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment as a part of a team whilst contributing to the development of business and processes
