Brand Ambassador
Brand Ambassadors help a company increase its brand value by representing the brand to audiences. Typical job duties of a Brand Ambassador are attending industry events, creating a specific image, generating sales opportunities, and promoting products and services to potential customers.
This is a part-time exempt position that may include holidays, weekends, and evenings. Overtime, if necessary, must be approved by the general manager in advance. Flexible schedule to meet the operation’s needs, up to 40 hours per week, 7 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate business development events in support of Grow West business plans.
- Organize and participate in business events, pop ups, and sales planning activities.
- Present marketing and strategic plans to the director of sales for overview and development.
- Become Grow Wests brand ambassador to our potential customers.
- Build strong customer relationships and promote sales and services.
- Supply positive product information and generate leads by encouraging eventgoers to promote Grow West brands/products.
- Practice consultative and relationship selling, taking the time to know our prospects needs and motivations and what is important to them before revealing our brand.
- Brand representatives also leverage knowledge of competitor offerings to similar effect. For example, they might make product comparisons in their company’s favor, which can help secure a sale.
- Manage all communication with the sales director and head quarter staff and monitor all competitor activity.
- Being physically fit and mentally alert is a crucial skill, the work duties involve a lot of travelling plus there is a constant and continual interaction with the company promoters to understand the brand and its varied offerings as well as with the target audience.
- Ability to create an emotional connection with the target audience so that they can believe in the brand due to his or her association resulting in a higher amount of brand value, awareness, sales, and profits.

Job Qualifications
- Product Knowledge- the brand representative must do their homework and be fully versed on market behavior, competition, and trends.
- Time Management- assessing which customers are likely to buy and which are not, and gracefully transitioning to the likely buyer, requires time management skills as well as diplomacy.
- Negotiation- in a role where the product’s price may not be set, the brand representative will need to understand effective negotiation techniques.
- Endurance- standing at events and on sales floors for long periods of time is often part of the job.
- Communication Skills– communication is vital, and brand representatives must demonstrate that they are verbally articulate and proficient active listeners.
- Interpersonal Skills- patience, friendliness, and empathy can drive sales and make for more effective representatives, as do talents for listening, establishing rapport, making good eye contact.
