Senior Controls Field Engineer

Join our BMS Controls team as a Senior BMS Technician, internally referred to as Controls Engineer, and take the lead on installing and maintaining building management systems primarily for datacenters. You’ll work independently on various projects, providing support to our junior technicians and ensuring all installations meet our high standards.  

• Install and troubleshoot BMS control components
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure timely project completion
• Mentor team members and contribute to a safe working environment
• Conduct system checkouts and commissioning

• 10 years in electrical roles; electrical license preferred
• Proficient in NEC, blueprints, and construction documents for datacenters
• Skilled in EMT, IMC, and conduit installation
• Ability to troubleshoot existing controls in customer sites.  This process skill is needed at both new construction and legacy customer sites, as controls often change or fail
• Experience with HVAC, DDC systems, and network installation
• Familiar with Tridium Niagara, Distech Controls, and integration protocols
• Ability to visit job construction hard hat areas and climb stairs, climb ladders, operate lifts, maneuver in and around pipework and air ducts.  Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Primarily based out of NY, CT, NJ, MD areas, with on-site presence required as per project needs (20-100%).
• Travel Expectation (75%)

Salary : $125,000 - $150,000
