Part-Time Leasing Agent for a Manufactured Housing Community
Job Summary:
The Part-Time Leasing Agent plays a key role in managing the leasing process, building relationships with prospective tenants, and ensuring exceptional service throughout the leasing experience. This role involves showing available units, guiding potential residents through the application process, and assisting with day-to-day leasing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leasing and Sales:
- Conduct property tours with prospective residents, showcasing available units and amenities.
- Provide accurate information about pricing, leasing terms, and community policies.
- Follow up with prospects through calls, emails, or in-person visits to maintain interest.
- Application Process:
- Assist applicants in completing leasing applications and gathering required documents.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations during the screening process.
- Resident Relations:
- Serve as the first point of contact for residents and prospective tenants.
- Handle inquiries and resolve concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Marketing Support:
- Collaborate with the team to promote vacant units through digital platforms, flyers, and events.
- Maintain and update leasing and marketing materials as needed.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate and organized leasing records in property management software.
- Support the Property Manager with daily operations, including lease renewals and move-in/move-out inspections.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in property leasing (2 years preferred), sales, or customer service preferred.

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in a related field is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with property management software (e.g., Rent Manager) and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations (preferred).
- Reliability.
- Ensures rules and regulation are upheld.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Continually required to sit/walk/stand.
- Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
- Continually required to talk and hear.
- Continually required to utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and use a keyboard.
- Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items up to 25 pounds.
- Occasionally exposure to outside weather conditions.
- On-site work attendance is required.
