Bartender

Reports to: Beverage Manager and F&B Manager
Supervises: N/A
Status: Hourly Non-Exempt, plus gratuity
The Manufacturers’ Golf & Country Club bartenders are responsible for beverage service throughout the Club. Bartenders will provide consistent and correct orders, hospitality with a smile and maintain bar cleanliness. They will have the opportunity to work at our main bar as well as events. Busy season for the hospitality team is April-October, and December holiday parties.

Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent levels of service to all Members and guests
- Assist the Beverage Manager with the design of exceptional beverage menus
- Identify / learn Member needs and respond proactively to their requests
- Provide a two-way communication with all MGCC Team Members and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis on motivation and teamwork
- Comply with all health and safety regulations
- Maintain a positive disposition with Members, guests, and fellow team members
- Will assist the Beverage Manager in oversight all beverage equipment, including the Keg room / draft beer system, soda systems, beer room, and CO2 Tanks ensuring they are properly maintained
- Will assist the Beverage Manager with monthly beverage inventories on all beverage outlets at the Club
- Will assist the Beverage Manager in maintaining and keeping a current wine program that is organized, including POS System updates, wine lists, and weekly beverage specials that will support a great member experience
Requirements:
- Proven beverage / bartending experience
- Positive and friendly disposition
- RAMP Certification is preferred but not required upon being hired
- Familiar with up-to-date food and beverages trends and best practices
- Member /guest-oriented and service-minded
- A Bartender is expected to wear the assigned MGCC uniform
- Must be 18 years and older
Skills and Abilities:
- Must have excellent verbal communication skills
- Must be detail oriented
- Able to work in a fast-paced, loud environment
- Must have the ability to remain calm and focused in high stress situations
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40lb.
