Senior Accountant- Southwest Central Houston (inside the loop)

Work Hours :
Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM, with flexibility as needed.
Reports to : The Controller
Join our team as a Senior Accountant and play a key role in financial management, tax compliance, reporting, and process improvements.
Senior Accountant Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and audit preparations.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, state business registrations, and timely property tax payments.
- Develop and implement SOPs for accounting policies and reconciliation procedures.
- Mentor junior staff, answer inquiries, and coordinate training sessions.
- Assist with inventory, cost analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
- Operate online banking platforms and ensure proper recording of expenses and credit card usage.
- Support audits, valuations, and cross-departmental collaboration.
