Responsibilities
- Fabricate components from sheet metal and other materials according to specifications.
- Operate machinery including ductwork equipment, machining tools, and welding machines.
- Perform soldering and pipe threading tasks as needed for assembly.
- Utilize measuring tools such as micrometers to ensure precision in fabrication.
- Build and assemble products based on engineering drawings and work orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Operate forklifts for the movement of materials within the facility.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fabrication or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with ductwork, machining, soldering, pipe threading, and sheet metal work.
- Proficient in using basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Capability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
