Schedule: 1st, 2nd, and Weekend Shift
Compensation: $28 – $33 per hour, depending on experience
Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor or Plant Manager
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. This individual will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical and electrical systems, machinery, and facilities equipment to ensure optimal production performance and workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems from 24V to 480V, including installations.
- Utilize working knowledge of PLCs, servo motors, AC/DC variable frequency drives, and related controls.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical failures, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Execute repairs involving plumbing, pipefitting, welding, and fabricating.
- Operate and maintain machine tools and other shop equipment.
- Maintain facility infrastructure such as HVAC, lighting, and basic building repairs.
- Mentor junior maintenance staff and support ongoing training.
- Accurately document maintenance activities and follow company safety procedures.
- Independently manage assigned projects with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school certification a plus.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance role.
- Demonstrated expertise in:
- Electrical troubleshooting (24V to 480V)
- Mechanical systems repair and maintenance
- PLC systems and drives (FANUC, Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
- Welding (MIG, TIG, or Stick) and fabrication
- Plumbing and pipefitting
- Facilities and machine tool maintenance
- Journeyman-level skill across multiple trades preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various physical environments (hot, cold, heights, etc.).
