What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Technician position at Manufacturing Concepts?
Responsibilities:
· Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of materials or products.
· Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in product selection, packaging, and labeling.
· Utilize computer systems to update inventory records, track shipments, and generate shipping documentation.
· Coordinate with carriers and logistics partners to schedule pickups and deliveries.
· Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to resolve any shipping or receiving issues.
· Maintain a clean and organized shipping/receiving area.
· Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and audits as needed.
Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Proven experience in a shipping/receiving role, preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment.
· Exceptional computer skills, including proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
· Familiarity with shipping regulations and procedures is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
