This is a full-time career opportunity that requires solid knowledge of QA and QC procedures along with strong analytical / troubleshooting and testing skills to effectively handle and resolve complex issues. This is a unique role, especially suitable for Engineers who've gained experience in fields that involve the production and manufacture of heavy equipment (i.e., automotive, aviation, aerospace, bus, rail, etc.). Other industry experience may also be considered.
If hired, you can expect to have oversight for tools and equipment plus the accuracy of production engineering activities including engineering drawings, adherence to work procedures involving written and verbal instructions, as well as Quality Inspection of electrical and mechanical equipment including equipment parts and sub-assemblies. Quality Assurance will be needed for root cause analysis and to verify conformance requirements, identify non-conformance, and classify defects.
Additionally, you should be ready to step up to the plate with a wide variety of responsibilities that rely on communications skills, i.e., at times you'll assist in training sessions for other engineers and technicians. Of major importance would be for you to have a comfort zone interfacing with Customers while serving as a liaison between Customers and Engineering Teams.
