What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler/Forklift position at Manufacturing Inc?
We are seeking a Forklift Material Handler to join our team! The Forklift Material Handler will be responsible for handling, moving, cutting, and distributing materials according to company requirements while ensuring a clean, safe, and organized work environment. This position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols in a manufacturing and distribution setting .
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and overhead cranes to transport materials safely.
- Set up and operate automatic and manual saws to cut materials as required.
- Measure, inspect, and pack incoming material following established procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper material labeling and tracking.
- Perform loading and unloading of materials from trucks and staging areas.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks and workflow.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines and adhere to all company safety policies.
- Assist with general warehouse duties and other tasks as needed.
