We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and have a proven track record in supervising production operations within a manufacturing facility or warehouse setting. This role is critical in ensuring efficient assembly line processes, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a safe working environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Supervise daily production activities and manage workflow on the assembly line to meet production goals.
Train, mentor, and evaluate team members on the proper use of hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while promoting a culture of safety among staff.
Monitor equipment performance, conduct regular inspections, and coordinate maintenance as needed.
Assist in the fabrication of products by overseeing assembly processes and ensuring quality control measures are met.
Maintain accurate records of production metrics and report on performance to upper management.
Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet company goals and deadlines.
Monitor production schedules and adjust resources to maximize efficiency.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Maintain accurate records of production data, including inventory, downtime, and equipment usage.
Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime and ensure quality.
Enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and clean work environment.
Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for increased efficiency and cost savings.

Skills / Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or factory environment.

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various types of machinery, including forklifts.

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Effective communication skills to interact with team members at all levels of the organization.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.

Prior experience in the chemical industry is required.

Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

Strong understanding of production processes, including safety protocols and quality control.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.

Proficiency in using computer systems for production tracking and reporting.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or managerial certifications are a plus.

Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
