Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines equipped with Siemens controls.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining processes, tools, and machine settings.
- Perform machine tool setup, calibration, and troubleshooting to ensure precision and accuracy.
- Monitor machine performance during operation to detect potential issues or deviations from the plan.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize production workflows and solve technical issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including machining parameters, setup sheets, and quality checks.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on CNC equipment as needed.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve process efficiency and reduce cycle times.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in CNC machining is preferred.
- Proven experience (5 years) as a CNC Machinist, with a focus on Siemens control systems (Siemens Sinumerik, Siemens 828D, etc.).
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tool selection, and material properties.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD/CAM models.
- Experience with CNC programming languages such as G-code, Siemens ShopMill, or ShopTurn.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to troubleshoot CNC machine issues and perform minor repairs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with multi-axis CNC machines (4-axis, 5-axis).
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP software and digital manufacturing tools.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement processes.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Lift up to 30 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks such as bending and reaching.
- Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery.
