Logistics Specialist

MSI is an Industrial Supply Distributor specializing in machine cutting tools.

Position Responsibilities:

· Receive all incoming materials and distribute to the proper storage location or department assuring that counts match packing order documents and assist in resolving any discrepancies; Most items are small with small writing. Attention to detail is important for accuracy.

· Pick orders to be shipped, ensure proper labels and paperwork have been applied before shipping;

· Handle all outbound packages, scheduling shipments UPS, FedEx, and commercial carriers and ensuring packages are shipped on time;

· Operate computerized inventory scanning equipment;

· Perform cycle counts and periodic inventory checks;

· Maintain clean and organized work area;

Qualifications:

· Forklift and pallet jack experience is preferred;

· High School diploma, GED or equivalent;

· 2 yrs. experience in a warehouse setting preferred, not required. We will train the right candidate;

· Must be highly detail-oriented;

· Ability to meet and maintain deadlines;

· Good organizational and communication skills;

· Basic PC/keyboard skills required;

· Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds;

Starting Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
