Job Summary:

Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to join our team specializing in a thin-film manufacturing facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply engineering principles in a manufacturing environment, contribute to innovative projects, and develop technical expertise in material handling, tension control, slitting machinery, and system optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing, analyzing, and optimizing thin-film manufacturing and handling systems, including rollers, tension control mechanisms, and material transport.
• Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and feasibility studies related to the thin-film manufacturing process.
• Support prototyping and testing efforts, including data collection and analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance, including manufacturing, quality, and electrical engineering.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input for process and equipment improvements.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.? Document project progress and prepare technical reports and presentations.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a similar engineering field.
• Proficient with MS Excel, Word
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing (preferred but not required).
• Strong attention to detail and data analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and data documentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Be able to climb stairs
