Maternity Leave Replacement starting as soon as possible through the end of the 2024-2025 school year (anticipated end date of June 20, 2025)
Manville School District's Weston Elementary School is seeking a caring, dedicated, and certified teacher for a Grade 1 Maternity Leave Replacement Teacher.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
- Create a nurturing inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and growth
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about student progress/needs
- Attend faculty meetings and participate in professional development workshops
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from an accredited university
- Valid New Jersey Elementary School Teacher Certification
- Strong classroom management skills
- Proficient in educational technology and innovative teaching methods
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for fostering student growth and achievement
- Multilingual a plus
