Special Relief

OVERVIEW: Special Relief employees cover long-term absences due to illness or injury. Special Relief job involves multiple positions in the Production and Warehouse/Cooler Departments. Duties include Working Foreman, Pasteurizer, C.I.P., Filler Operator, Blow Mold, Shipper, Product Palletizer, Forklift Operator, and Warehouse Receiver. Must follow all safety and sanitary policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Follow all associated procedures.
• Pasteurizer
• C.I.P.
• Filler Operator
• Blow Mold
• Shipper
• Milk Receiver
• Product Palletizer
• Forklift Operator
• Warehouse Receiver
• Follows all Safety Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Maintain compliance and ensure that all materials are handled under manufacturers’ recommendations, and internal food safety requirements, and under regulatory standards that are established by GMP, PMO, OSHA, and FDA.
• Accurately prepare & maintain all area paperwork, documents, and downtime records.
• Ensure all containers meet quality assurance checks.
• Maintain sanitation of equipment including hand cleaning; Responsible for general housekeeping to ensure a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Work in a noisy atmosphere.
• Wear a protective hearing device.
• Frequently bending
• Work with chemicals.
• Lift and handle merchandise from the floor to a height of 15 feet.
• Climb steps and ladder while carrying objects.
• Frequently lift and carry 25 lbs.
