MAPEI Corporation, a leader in the manufacturing of chemical building products, is seeking a dynamic Architectural Representative with a proven sales track record and a passion for excellence. In this role, you will be at the forefront of driving product awareness, educating industry professionals, and strengthening our market presence through impactful demonstrations and presentations.
- Meet and exceed sales targets as established by the company.
- Manage the full specification life cycle, including developing relationships, conducting pre-design and design phase activities, writing MAPEI-specific specifications, and coordinating bid and review processes.
- Maintain strong relationships with distributors, contractors, and project owners to ensure successful product delivery and sales closure.
- Collaborate with the Director, Architectural & Commercial Projects on assigned initiatives.
- Deliver continuing education programs for the architectural and design community.
- Partner with Distributor Architectural Sales Representatives to engage architects on major projects and promote MAPEI products.
- Attend trade shows as requested to represent MAPEI.
- Build and strengthen relationships with commercial architects and contractors to influence product selection and specifications.
- Work with distributors and identify contractor needs to support successful project execution.
- Update existing National Accounts and cultivate new ones.
- Collaborate with Customer Representatives to maintain account activities and materials.
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, safety rules and instructions.
- Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales of commercial products with a proven track record.
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
- In-depth knowledge of the assigned market/industry.
- Valid state driver’s license with the ability to travel within the territory.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and general computer literacy.
- Ability to work independently and stand for extended periods.
