MAPEI is seeking an Instrumentation & Electrical Technician to join the site maintenance team, reporting to the Maintenance Manager. The Maintenance Instrumentation and Electrical Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and instrumentation systems in an industrial setting. This role ensures the safe and efficient operation of equipment and systems, contributing to the overall productivity and reliability of the facility. Key Responsibilities :
Installation and Maintenance : Install, maintain, and repair electrical and instrumentation equipment, including sensors, relays, actuators, and control systems.
Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve electrical and instrumentation issues using appropriate test equipment and diagnostic tools.
Calibration : Perform calibration and alignment checks on instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Preventive Maintenance : Conduct routine preventive maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems to prevent equipment failures.
Documentation : Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including calibration data and maintenance logs.
Compliance : Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Collaboration : Work closely with engineers and other technicians to support plant operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Training : Mentor and train junior technicians to enhance team capabilities.
Other duties as required.

Qualifications :
HS diploma (or GED equivalent)
Manufacturing maintenance with 3-5 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation.
Associate degree in electrical engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
Proficiency in AC / DC circuits, VFD drives, motor control, and PLC control.
Proficiency in using test instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, and oscilloscopes.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow complex technical guidelines.
Strung understanding of electrical and mechanical principles.
Proficiency in using test instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, and oscilloscopes.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities to identify and address electrical and instrumentation issues.
Ability to climb, crawl, and work in tight spaces.
Relevant certifications as OSHA, NCCER, or iSA are preferred.
Have the ability to lift up to 55 lbs. independently; and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
You must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Use of safety gear as needed.
Proficiency in Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and CMMS systems.
