Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Proactively reach out to potential and existing customers through calls, emails, and other digital channels.
- Qualify leads and identify customer needs to recommend appropriate products or services.
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of prospects, ensuring timely follow-ups and relationship-building.
- Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and pricing to potential customers.
- Process orders, create quotes, and manage customer accounts within the CRM / ERP system.
- Monitor production status in collaboration with the buyer/planner.
- Provide order acknowledgements and updates to customers.
- Coordinate shipments with the shipping department.
- Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, Production, and Marketing teams to support business growth initiatives and ensure on-time delivery.
- Meet and exceed sales quotas and performance metrics.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Perform other related tasks as required or assigned.
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience in inside sales, telemarketing, or customer service.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a high-volume sales environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
