Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Proactively reach out to potential and existing customers through calls, emails, and other digital channels.
  • Qualify leads and identify customer needs to recommend appropriate products or services.
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of prospects, ensuring timely follow-ups and relationship-building.
  • Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and pricing to potential customers.
  • Process orders, create quotes, and manage customer accounts within the CRM / ERP system.
  • Monitor production status in collaboration with the buyer/planner.
  • Provide order acknowledgements and updates to customers.
  • Coordinate shipments with the shipping department.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, Production, and Marketing teams to support business growth initiatives and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Meet and exceed sales quotas and performance metrics.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Perform other related tasks as required or assigned.

Position Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • 1-3 years of experience in inside sales, telemarketing, or customer service.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a high-volume sales environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
