Education: Bachelor's Degree or professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, or equivalent related experience preferred.
Experience: 9 - 11 years or master's degree equivalent plus 7 - 9 years.
Knowledge: Extensive level of professional knowledge in field across multiple disciplines and broad business segment. Extensive knowledge of management practices.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent level of knowledge in Product Management or Underwriting.
9-11 years of relevant increasing responsibility, including three or more years supervisory experience preferred.
Experience in personal line product, preferably in Home and MA is essential.
Solid understanding of the customer life cycle including quote flow, comp rater, renewal disruption.
Fundamental knowledge of underwriting, pricing and forms

About the Role
The successful candidate will manage the staff of the Product Department, planning, directing and monitoring activities to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
They will also manage the Product Department's efforts to develop and maintain profitable and competitive product and pricing by line of business for states as assigned.
Additionally, they will monitor and respond when appropriate to regulatory developments and competitor products, filings and rates, including the Division of Insurance relationship.
As chair of various strategy committees, the candidate will establish profit and growth objectives by line of business, monitor profit and growth performance and coordinate strategies with Marketing, Underwriting, Claims and other departments to achieve these objectives.
