Position Type: Full-Time
Core Schedule: Monday to Friday (flexible hours available!)
Salary Range: $115,000-120,000 with benefits package

We are currently seeking a Director of Nursing for our Capital Region. As Director of Nursing, you will be a key member of our leadership team, overseeing nursing services and ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Management: Oversee and maintain high standards of care across all nursing services to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
- Compliance and Communication: Ensure adherence to all regulatory standards while fostering clear and effective communication among the nursing staff.
- Resident Care Coordination: Assess and address the nursing needs of all residents, ensuring that personalized care plans are developed and followed.
- Knowledge Sharing: Stay updated on nursing theory and practices, sharing this knowledge with the team to ensure the best possible care.
- Medical Records Management: Ensure accurate and timely completion of all medical documentation and resident records.
- Staff Recruitment and Training: Participate in the recruitment, interviewing, and orientation of new nursing staff, ensuring they are well-prepared to provide exceptional care.
- Flexible Scheduling: Adapt to the dynamic needs of the facility with a flexible work schedule that supports both staff and residents.
Qualifications:
- Current New York State RN license required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in long-term care settings.
- Proven experience in training and developing clinical staff.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to foster a collaborative, positive work environment.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and prior supervisory experience.
