Job Description:
As an Assistant Construction Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Construction Superintendent in overseeing and managing construction projects. Your responsibilities will include coordinating subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining project schedules. A strong background in finish carpentry is highly preferred, as you will be involved in supervising and inspecting carpentry work to ensure it meets our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Construction Superintendent in managing daily construction activities.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and tradespeople.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain project schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Inspect and supervise work to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
Qualifications:
- Experience as an Assistant Construction Superintendent, Foreman, or similar role.
- Strong background in finish carpentry preferred.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices.
