Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly and experienced Bartender/Server to join our team at the Fireside Grille at Maple Creek Golf Course. This dual-role position requires providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving drinks, taking food orders, and ensuring a positive dining experience for guests. The ideal candidate will have strong multitasking skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with state and local laws.
- Maintain a well-stocked and organized bar, including inventory management and restocking.
- Engage with customers, take drink orders, and provide recommendations when needed.
- Ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service policies.
- Clean and sanitize bar equipment, glassware, and work areas.
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and take food and drink orders.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns or special requests.
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Process payments using POS systems and handle cash/card transactions accurately.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure a seamless dining experience.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years or older.
- Previous bartending and/or serving experience preferred.
- Knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine service.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
