Job Description:
Fireside Grille at Maple Creek Golf Course is looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Utility Worker to support our culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in the kitchen. Responsibilities include dishwashing, general cleaning, and assisting with basic food prep tasks to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area.
- Assist with basic food prep tasks as needed (e.g., peeling, chopping, portioning).
- Take out trash and recycling, ensuring proper disposal.
- Keep kitchen floors, counters, and storage areas clean and sanitized.
- Restock kitchen supplies, including plates, utensils, and cooking tools.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries properly.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Support the kitchen team in any additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is a plus but not required.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
- Team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail.
