Maple Knoll Village, a continuing care retirement community located in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a fulltime Independent Living Housekeeping Lead. This position offers a great work-life balance with NO weekends or holidays required. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 730a-330p. The pay range for this position is $17.00-$19.25. Pay rate is based on prior experience.
As the Independent Living Housekeeping Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations within our Independent Living spaces, providing high-quality service, and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of resident areas. Additionally, you will support the Independent Living Housekeeping Supervisor with various administrative and supervisory tasks, including payroll, scheduling, billing, supply inventory, and more.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Housekeeping & Supervisory Tasks
- Serve as the primary cleaner for Maple Manor, a brand-new resident community space.
- Fill in as a housekeeper when needed (e.g., short-staffed, vacations, etc.).
- Respond to housekeeping issues, such as spills or leaks, in a timely and effective manner.
- Oversee and supervise a team of housekeepers, including completing inspections and providing training for new staff.
- Assist with the maintenance of housekeeping supplies and report any equipment malfunctions or repair needs to the IL Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Exhibit professionalism while interacting with residents, families, and coworkers, contributing to a positive and cooperative team atmosphere.
- Administrative Support
- Support and serve as the backup to the IL Housekeeping Supervisor for administrative duties related to payroll, scheduling, billing, supply inventory, and more.
- Assist with other office duties as needed, ensuring all administrative tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory experience in housekeeping or a related field is required.
- Strong technological skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) to support administrative tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude when interacting with residents, families, and coworkers.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
