What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper, MKV position at Maple Knoll Communities?
Maple Knoll Village, a continuing care retirement community located in Springdale, OH is looking for fulltime and part-time Housekeepers to add to our team orientated housekeeping department! Fulltime hours are 7a-3p. And part-time is 4p-830p.
The position will require you to work Monday- Friday, NO weekends or holidays! The starting pay for this position is $15.00. Pay is based off prior experience. Some experience is required!
Housekeeper: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Clean and disinfect resident apartments/cottages, bathrooms, and common areas such as hallways, dining rooms, and recreational areas.
- Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Provides quality customer service to residents and visitors by providing one-on-one attention to detail.
- Disposes of trash and hazardous waste according to facility policies and procedures.
- Clean and sanitize all surfaces such as countertops, sinks, toilets, and showers
- Keeps utility storage rooms in good order by arranging, and stocking supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap dispensers as needed.
- Responds to calls for housekeeping problems, such as spills, leaks, etc.
- Assist with laundry services as need, including washing, drying, and folding linen.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or needed repairs to the Housekeeping Supervisor
- Contributes to team efforts; exhibits professionalism with residents, resident families, and fellow coworkers.
- Must be able to work well as a team and independently.
- Part-time evening shift duties includes but not limited to: cleaning office spaces, emptying trash, vacuuming/cleaning common areas around the facility; and cleaning our Wellness Center.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
