Maintenance Assistant

The Maintenance Assistant's job is to support the supervisor in maintaining and repairing physical structure and equipment on campus.
Maintenance is a key part of our organization because a well cared for facility and grounds is important for the safety of our resident's and staff.

• May be required to build various structures.
• General maintenance may require plumbing repair.
• May be required to maintain and replace electrical outlets, etc.
• May be required to remove furniture from rooms no longer occupied.
• May be required to paint interiors and exterior of facility.
• Repair furniture and maintain work areas.
• Maintain the grounds of the facility.
• Perform duties according to company policies and procedures.
• Follow company safety rules and participate in Preventative Maintenance program.

• Knowledge of machines and tools.
• Taking initiative and fulfilling obligations.
• Taking responsibility and anticipating changes in work.
• Follows all safety rules, exhibit teamwork and have situational awareness.
• Will provide training as appropriate.
• Ability to obtain boiler license.
• A caring spirit with people skills.
• Mechanically inclined.
