What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard Dog Driver position at Maple Leaf Farms Inc?
Must maintain a valid CDL - Class A.
Position is responsible for staging and moving tractor trailers to ensure they are ready for unloading, loading, and transport. Must obey all traffic laws and drive safely in accordance with DOT regulations. Ensure pre and post operational equipment checks and logs are maintained in compliance with Maple Leaf Farms policies and DOT regulations. Organize trailers within the space available to promote efficiency of daily moves.
Must be able to perform basic functions of a computer and fill out daily paperwork with legible penmanship. Must know how to properly use scaled for weighing vehicles.
Other duties may be required by the managers as needed.
