The Neshaminy School District, located in Lower Bucks County is seeking a Long-term substitute Special Education Teacher for our Emotional Support program at Maple Point Middle School. Qualifications for the available opportunities include current PA certification in Special Education with certification K-12.
The teacher will be responsible for the following:
- Knowledge of evidence-based instructional practices for secondary students needing emotional support programming
- Direct social-emotional instruction to students in the emotional support program ongoing social/emotional/behavioral support to the students in the emotional support program
- Development and implementation of IEPs and Positive Behavior Support Plans for a caseload of students with varying degrees of need.
- Daily collaboration with emotional support teacher colleagues and Board Certified Behavior Analyst
- Experience educating students with emotional needs is preferred.
