What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Gift Assembly Production - Part or Full time position at Maple Ridge Farms, Inc.?
As a part of the Maple Ridge Farms award-winning gift assembly team, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate assembly of gifts and gift components including the final inspection prior to shipment to the customer.
Shifts available include:
Weekdays- 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (October-December) and 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (November 1 - December 15)
Essential duties and responsibilities include the ability to:
- Provide a high level of quality and service that exceeds our customers’ expectations.
- Work as an integral part of our team environment.
- Understand and follow all specifications of the production BOMs (bill of materials) to ensure that all gifts are produced in an efficient and correct manner.
- Adhere to all safety practices in regards to the correct lifting procedures, the proper techniques for using a box cutter, and the possible use of a safety ladder.
- Be present at work fulfilling your designated and agreed-upon schedule.
- Work standing for extended periods of time (8-hour shifts with breaks).
- Perform repetitive functions such as taping, tying, operating an L-bar shrink wrap system.
- Lift and carry 10-35# occasionally throughout the shift.
- Bend and squat repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Repeatedly reach out in front of your body and up above your head, while retrieving items needed to complete the orders.
- Push and pull up to 15# repeatedly throughout the shift.
