Maple Ridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is now seeking a part-time Transportation Aide.

This position requires demonstrated knowledge and skill in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the Escort / Transportation service; drive and assure the Facility vans are maintained in a safe, compliant, and road-worthy manner, in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the facility, and all applicable state laws and regulations; demonstrate ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English. Position requires prolonged standing, sitting, walking, frequent bending, stooping, climbing, pushing, lifting, and stretching; lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Experience : Previous work experience in driving a wheelchair van and in the health care of the older adult preferred.
Certificate / Licenses : Must have a current PA CNA certification as well as a valid PA driver’s license and have an excellent driving record. Must be CPR and basic first aid certified.
Essential Job Functions :
Transport residents from building to designated appointments and returns
Transport new admissions when required
Log all transport in transport log and record all trips when completed
Daily check of resident’s appointments and make schedule
Other duties as assigned
