This position will be primarily responsible for receiving, transporting, organizing, cycle counting, inspecting, and shipping inventory. Maple Systems is an employee-owned company located in Everett, WA. We manufacture and distribute Industrial Automation electronic products such as Industrial Computers, Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). We are looking for someone to join our production team which consists of 10 other team members all doing a variety of job responsibilities. Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Work to improve productivity and efficiency of inventory flow
- Receive inbound product, unbox inventory and organize for inspection
- Assist shipping clerk by pulling orders, organizing finished goods inventory, stocking shipping boxes, and moving tested product to shelves
- Periodic cycle counts of inventory utilizing ABC classifications
- Planning warehouse space usage
- Organization of inventory with proper labeling and in FIFO order
- Review of current inventory storage methods with continual process improvement
- Identify and escalate issues with inventory receipts, labeling, or damaged inventory
- Product testing and inspection
- Boxing and shipping orders to customers using ERP system
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Supervisory Responsibility :
This position does not supervise others.
Education / Experience :
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability :
Ability to read and comprehend standard work instructions (Assembly Procedure, Drawings, etc.), production reports, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations.
Math Ability :
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability :
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
