Part time Preschool teacher

Half-Day Preschool/Pre-K Program Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate part-time Preschool Teacher to join our half-day preschool program located in Dunstable for the 2025-26 school year. Our preschool is a non-profit program licensed by the MA Department of Early Education and Care. The school serves children ages 2.9 to 5 years old and includes one other teacher who will work alongside the Preschool Teacher, creating a nurturing and educational environment for young children. This position is ideal for someone who loves working with children and is committed to their development and well-being. Responsibilities include •Teaching and Instruction: Lead classroom activities and instruction, providing hands-on, interactive, and inclusive learning experiences for all children. •Plan and Implement Curriculum: Develop and execute engaging lesson plans that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of preschool children. •Team Collaboration: Work closely with the co-teacher to ensure a cohesive and supportive classroom environment. •Classroom Management: Assures the classroom and all related areas are clean, safe, and developmentally appropriate for all students. •Individual Attention: Address the individual needs of each child and tailor activities to support their unique development. •Parent Communication: Maintain open and regular communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. •Assessments: Conduct twice yearly assessments to monitor children's growth and development and attend parent teacher conferences to provide updates to families. •Professional Development: Stay current with best practices in early childhood education and attend relevant training sessions. Work Schedule This is a part-time position paying $19-$24/hour, requiring approximately 23 hours per week aligning with the half-day preschool program schedule. The preschool follows the public-school calendar, including paid holidays and school vacations. The program does not operate during the summer months. This opening is for the 2025-26 school year.
