Civil Engineer Travel to Job Sites
Location: Remote with Travel to Client Sites
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year

We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our team, where you will play a key role in the planning, design, and execution of construction projects. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both technical engineering work and fieldwork, as you will frequently travel to client sites to oversee project progress, troubleshoot challenges, and ensure successful implementation.
Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and oversee civil engineering projects from concept to completion.
- Travel to client sites to conduct inspections, monitor construction progress, and address engineering challenges.
- Collaborate with project managers, surveyors, and construction teams to ensure designs align with real-world conditions.
- Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and engineering analyses to support project development.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
- Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other engineering software to develop designs, layouts, and technical drawings.
- Work closely with contractors and suppliers to confirm material selections and project requirements.
- Prepare and present technical reports, project documentation, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Identify and solve on-site engineering challenges to keep projects on track.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in civil engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects.
- Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time to job sites as needed.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design and analysis software.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of construction codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- A Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one is preferred but not required.
