Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Engineer to join our team. This role involves working on-site across various projects, ensuring technical oversight, quality assurance, and seamless coordination between field teams and project stakeholders. You will play a key role in executing engineering tasks, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee daily field operations, ensuring construction and engineering activities align with project plans, specifications, and safety protocols.
  • Provide technical guidance to contractors and site personnel, ensuring efficient execution of civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical installations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, quality control checks, and compliance audits to confirm adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve on-site engineering challenges, mitigating risks and minimizing project delays.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of project progress, technical issues, and corrective actions while preparing detailed reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate schedules, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure timely project completion.
  • Assist with commissioning, testing, and verification of systems and structures before project handover, ensuring functionality and performance meet design specifications.
  • Promote and enforce safety standards, conducting risk assessments and ensuring site personnel follow proper protocols.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process enhancements to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall project execution.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in an engineering or field operations role, preferably within the construction, infrastructure, or energy sectors.
  • Strong understanding of civil, mechanical, and electrical systems, with hands-on experience in site work and construction management.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Knowledge of project management tools, construction schedules, and quality control procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound technical decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with project commissioning
  • Familiarity with engineering standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Professional certifications such as PE (Professional Engineer), PMP (Project Management Professional), or LEED.
  • Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in outdoor construction environments, including exposure to various weather conditions.
  • Must be able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to project sites and remain on-site for extended periods.
