Role Overview
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control systems to ensure our engineering projects comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify quality issues, propose solutions, and drive continuous improvement in project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop & Implement Quality Standards: Create and enforce quality assurance procedures for construction, infrastructure, and engineering projects.
- Site Inspections & Audits: Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to verify adherence to approved designs, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Material Testing & Compliance: Ensure all materials meet industry standards by coordinating laboratory tests and on-site evaluations.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, test results, and compliance reports. Generate detailed reports highlighting findings and corrective measures.
- Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Actions: Investigate quality issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions to mitigate risks.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to align quality control practices with project objectives.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all construction activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA, ISO, and ASTM standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancement and recommend best practices to optimize quality performance.
- Training & Mentorship: Conduct training sessions for teams on quality standards, best practices, and compliance procedures.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance within civil engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of quality control software, testing methodologies, and construction materials.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify quality issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions.
