About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Maplewood Senior Living. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications as prescribed by medical professionals
- Provide direct care and service to residents, including teaching and wellness counseling
- Participate in health promotions and assessments under the supervision of the Resident Services Director (RN)
- SUPPORT RESIDENTS AND FAMILIES BY PROVIDING EMOTIONAL SUPPORT AND COMFORT DURING DIFFICULT TIMES
- Oversight of Certified Nursing Assistants and training of associates
- Complete monthly in-service training as required
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse currently licensed to practice in the State of Ohio
- Two years full-time or full-time equivalent clinical experience
- Experience working with older adults is preferred
- Able to perform tasks that may be physically demanding, such as pushing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers, and other staff members
