About the Role
The Certified Nursing Assistant plays a vital role in providing exceptional care and service to our residents. As part of our nursing team, you will be responsible for assisting residents with all care needs, including bathing, dressing, continence care, dining, and mobility support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and engage residents in conversation and activities
- Work collaboratively with the nursing team to ensure resident care needs are met
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, including resident rooms and common areas
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current Connecticut Nurse's Aide Registration
- Experience working with seniors, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, families, peers, and other staff members
- In good physical and emotional health, free of communicable diseases
