Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Maplewood at Newtown is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. As a CNA, you will assist and support the Resident Services Director with the overall implementation, delivery, and coordination of nursing services in our community.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist with medication administration
- Provide direct care and service to residents
- Teach and wellness counsel
- Participate in health promotion activities
- Support residents and families
Requirements:
- Certified Nursing Assistant certification currently licensed to practice in the State
- Two years full-time or full-time equivalent clinical experience
- Ability to work with older adults
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may be demanding such as pushing, bending and lifting up to 50lbs
